So the Westwall girls marry the Lattimer boys? Then that would make Erin Ivy's aunt, right? Erin and President Lattimer had Bishop, so Ivy is married to her cousin?

Is this a lot like Cruel Beauty? It sounds vaguely similar if not in setting then at least in major plot points. Is it worth it to read both?

Is this appropriate for my 14 year old sister? Does the duology have any sex scenes? She has read the Legend trilogy, the Snow like Ashes trilogy and The Lunar Chronicles.
