Once again I can't help but wonder...is there any talk of bringing this series of books to television? The moment would seem to be ripe what with the 100th anniversary of the armistice of 1918 approaching and the great interest in the Great War on the part of the viewing public. Or is the technical realities of portraying the dual protagonist of Rutledge / Hamish too complicated for the small screen?

Directors: Nolan is great in syfy, certainly. Korean director of "Parasite" great as he nailed dark relationships perfectly. Bahz Luhrman brilliant, but his forte is spectacles. Screenwriter: gotta be a veteran of a war with experience.(less)
