Vanessa Knutsen I look at the rather good novel where Jill Paton Walsh finished up an unfinished Dorothy L. Sayers novel. A well done continuation! I felt it was 95% …moreI look at the rather good novel where Jill Paton Walsh finished up an unfinished Dorothy L. Sayers novel. A well done continuation! I felt it was 95% or so on target and showed a GREAT understanding of Sayers' styles, etc.

This woman, however, does not show the IMMERSION in the Christie writing and the Christie values...that Walsh showed in her adaptation.

And...(one of many misses) This author snipes at religion in a way I never read Christie doing. Poirot does not have the VIGOR and the moral fortitude that the real Poirot (always a devoted catholic) showed.(less)
