Since Vince Flynn's death another author has taken over the Mitch Rapp character. I have read all Vince Flynn's books and am rereading several since the American Assassin came out. Which by the way is a good read. Not sure if I like the new author but I will give him a chance. I have read most of the Jack Reacher books but the casting of Tom Cruise to play 6'5'' Jack really turned me off. Next political thriller?

I have watched the movies and to me they are nothing like the books. The books are way better and I will keep reading them although I haven't picked one up in a while. I agree with Patrick, I can't blame Child for his reasoning but again, I just didn't like the movies as much.
I love the Mitch Rapp books but haven't seen the American Assassin movie yet.(less)

I have taken very well to the Mitch Rapp series of books by Vince Flynn. I have read 2 in the last 3 days, and at the rate I'm going, I'll be finished wuth all of them before the years' end. So, since I love books like this, and authors like Vince Flynn, what might you other readers recommend for me to pick up after I finish the rest of the series? Thanks in advance for the advice!
