This series is my favorite. It's not like your typical YA fantasy that's focused completely on teenagers. There's a fair amount of adult involvement and that really adds to the depth of the books. It also helps that the main character is a strong female and not one of those whiny bumbling idiots like some books. Blue and her boys would knock every popular YA series out of the park if they were more widely heard of.(less)
