She has been even catching some of her words she's been learning at kindergarten. It also helps that there's pictures. This is our second chapter book we have read. Perú is a country in South America. To the west it has the Pacific Ocean and to the East has the Amazonian Forest, which would be the "Darkest Perú" of the Paddington tales. Nevertheless, Perú forests have no bears at all. Its fauna has deers, pumas, birds as guacamayos among others. South America has only one kind of bear which lives in the highlands.
