I really am wondering how rose and maddie are sisters! I think that it's a pleasant surprise but it doesn't tie together I wonder how rose is handeling all of the pressure and I kind of am happy for her though because her whole life she's been separated from her family. What was the author thinking when she made rose and maddie sisters?

I think that in many ways, this book is a story about transformation, in both of the ways they are living and thinking. But in the end of the book when Maggie prepares Rose´s wedding, in order to show her how much she loves her, and roses protection of Maggie against others reactions on her personality. But does that tell that they have to forgive each other, despite of what they have throughout the novel done?
