The unconscious, on the other hand, interprets everything as they objectively are, and may surface in dreams. However, this is not guaranteed, as the unconscious is not restricted to furthering individual's well-being. I haven't yet noticed anything about self-fulfillment, but it sounds neurotic to me. Being overly obsessed about the outcome of a dream might be a pre-oedipal substitution neurosis, or simple megalomania.(less)
