21 Ways You Know You're a Goodreads Member

Your family and friends have noticed. Once upon a time, your love of books may have been confined to the page, but these days, you just can't keep it in—and why should you? It’s way more fun to geek out about books on Goodreads.
Last week we asked you to complete this sentence: You know you're a Goodreads member when... Today we've got your top answers! Anything sound familiar, bookworms?

Wow, this is embarrassingly accurate.

Love all of them! But 3, 5, 10, 11, 14, 16, 17, and 21 are my favourites and apply to me the most. Love them all! LOL
When you bond with someone over books, "meet up" on Facebook and then in real life and you find out your book bond is just as strong as on Goodreads.
21 mostly but really I think what makes you a goodreads member is when its your main social media, and what you do during class
Riverreed wrote: "1 & 6 are me. But 12? I'm right on top of mine. Though I think War and Peace might set me back..."As for 21... I have read about 40 books per year since I was 15, on average. If I live to say 100, and I am 19 now then that means I can read 85 x 40 books in my lifetime, which is 3 400 books in total. Though I hope that I will get more time for reading in my twilight years. It still won't be enough of course.
Simultaneously, the very best thing, and the very worst thing about the world is that I will never read all the books in the world. It is the best because I will never run out of the joy of reading, and even if I did, I would simply reread. It is the worst thing because because I will never be able to experience the joy of every good book in the world.
And the only reason for your ever increasing reading speed is the book commitment to the "reading challenge"
For me, #s 1,6,7,9,10,14,18,19,20,21. lol! Only for me, #18 is "You obsess over your shelves and are always adding more because you need more ways to classify your books!" :-)
6, 10, 16 and 21 are so true! Goodreads web page with is always open on both of my computers - at home and in the office.=) If I have some free time, I'm there - looking for new books or updating my reading status.=)
Ok, confession time - most of this list is true! My points are:1,3,6,10 (don't do Twitter or Facebook),16,20 & 21I really liked no.20, as this is so true - especially when in Waterstones!
All of these are me- especially 10 and 12. I'm an avid reviewer too, so I sometimes read while also thinking, "What am I going to rate this on GR? What should I say about it in my review?"
I also totally try to get my friends to look at my GR account instead of my Facebook because I'm always on here, but no one seems to get that :P
