Where do you read? Do you sprawl out in the park? Or do you have a cozy coffee shop with the perfect you-sized reading nook? Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, we want to see the view. We promise we won't get jealous—well, not too jealous—if you're currently reading on vacation, flipping pages on a balmy, sun-soaked beach. (Just take us with you next time, okay? I read on the beach(one of my favorite places), the line in the bank, my bed, my chair...or anywhere else really ... whenever I have a free moment... I read!
flag
Usually in a coffee shop where its peaceful and quiet. Or in my bedroom for crazy heartbreaking moments of the book.
Renathe Elisabeth, no WiFi on LIRR or bus, have all my music on my phone, I listen to music, also a big fan of music, while I read.
I read in my bed, in my living room, in my kitchen while I cook, in the car waiting for kids to get out of school, on my break at work, when I'm in line for the bank, when I'm waiting for my lunch order....etc.

Have you ever tried audiobooks? They're a pretty good option for travelling. I drive for a living and I listen to audiobooks instead of the radio.
in bed at night or in the morning before I have to get up or on the sofa during the day. I need to start getting out more, find a nice place outside to read when the weather is nice.
If it is a good book I can't put down, I'll take it with me to the bathroom. Don't worry, I won't take a picture.
My best place is looking out to the mountain at the campground. Otherwise I always have a book so out it comes when i have a free minute
Wherever I can find a quiet place. On the recliner with the dogs or outside on the patio are my favorites. Also in bed before the lights go out for the night.
Everywhere! In the bed, on the sofa, outside (I looove reading on the beach in summer), but mostly during commute to school.

Let's see... I read in bed, the big comfy recliner, on the couch, at my desk, at the laundromat, but I really want to take and afternoon and read at the park sometime soon.
I read everywhere, but mainly while sitting on my bed, with a cuppa joe on the side table, my heeler dog alongside me on her pallet...bliss
So many of us, I like to read in bed. Lol No pic from me. I like to read laying on my back in bed with my 20 lb orange tabby Rossco stretched out on top of me. He is my avatar.
After reading all the comments: AM I THE ONLY PERSON ON THE WORLD READING BOOKS IN THE TOILET WHILE TAKING A DUMP?
Whenever and wherever I can! But mostly in bed, on the sofa or now with the autumn sun my lovely window seat nicely tucked in between built in book shelves!
I usually read in my living room or dining room in my creature comforts holding my beloved Kindle. There's no better feeling!
:æ: wrote: "In a box, with a fox. In a house, with a mouse. I will read books here and there. I will read them ANYWHERE!"I love this!
Since it came up, for toilet reading usually the sports section of the newspaper, books I read elsewhere.
I go through a lot of books listening to them (audio book format) -- while doing chores at home, while driving, while walking to the library or nail salon and back, etc. Works for me very well. I also have books on kindle which i read just before going to bed or on weekends and i go through those 10 times slower than through audiobooks (because i cannot allow myself to seat and read when there is so much to do around the house or because i simply too tired).
Where do I read?In my big, comfy chair with my feet up and my cat in my lap. Alternately, sitting at the kitchen island while cooking or doing laundry.
I never leave the house without a book! I read in offices waiting for appointments, standing in line at Walgreens, in the car, in bed when I can't sleep. My favorite place to read is in our recliner next to our big window that looks out over San Pablo Bay with my headphones on, blanket on my lap along with my big fluffy cat & a glass of wine. I just sink down into a bliss of Book Zen :)
I read anywhere and everywhere, whenever I have time which isn't a lot. So yeah, bed, couch, living room, kitchen, road, subway, bus, classroom, beach, you name it. I've taken my books with with everywhere. =)

I read on the sofa, at the table, in my bed, on trains and sometimes I just go to the library, pick a pile of books and sit somewhere to relax and read. For hours. During warm seasons I can read in my hammock or just spread a carpet/blanket on the ground and read there. Or lie down on a trampoline with a book.I rarely leave the house without a book, there's almost always something to read in my bag or at least an e-book inside my phone.
honestly, i read during my lunch break at work. unfortunately there is a television in the break room and my coworkers can't sit for five seconds without having the stupid thing turned on at full volume. recently i've started listening to instrumental music with headphones to drown out the television so i can concentrate on what i'm reading.

The only difference it is not TV, it is absolutely unintelligent conversations of co-workers But since recently I actually changed my attitude because I started to listen to beautiful classical music (Vivaldi, Chopin, etc.) with my sound isolating headphones and I really love it. I would not discover this joy without my co-workers so I am actually grateful to them now.

I read in bed, on our balcony, my recliner, at the table, in the car, waiting at an appt. In other words, anywhere I can have a book.
Everywhere I go I carry two books and the Kindle with me. I read on the subway, the bus, the park, at school, at home... it's difficult to find me without a book, truth be told. I also keep a few pocket-sized books in my car, just in case. Also, why is it considered rude when you open a book at a family reunion or something, yet everyone seems perfectly content to ignore everyone else with their phones?
I read mostly just anywhere quiet and conducive. Home is the best place mostly in bed. Usually at work during my lunch break or under a shady tree in a quiet neighbourhood.
At my desk in my home office, usually. Or on the couch in the living room. Sometimes at the local library. I find it incredibly hard to read in a moving vehicle, so no bus/train reading for me.
