Show Us Where You Read
Where do you read? Do you sprawl out in the park? Or do you have a cozy coffee shop with the perfect you-sized reading nook? Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, we want to see the view. We promise we won't get jealous—well, not too jealous—if you're currently reading on vacation, flipping pages on a balmy, sun-soaked beach. (Just take us with you next time, okay? San Francisco can get a little gloomy.)

Any place I can find (especially enjoy stealing away at annoying family functions - shh don't tell). Way easier to do these days with a kindle.

I make an occasional appearance....enough that if someone asks where I am, someone will answer "I think I saw him down by the ..."
Then I just disappear into a quiet room or failing that a toilet cubicle and read my kindle.
At home, usually on the couch in the livingroom. I don't like reading in bed. I fall asleep too easily! I also read at my computer desk, in the car (also don't drive) and at Dr. appts while waiting for them.
Sitting on my tub chair in the balcony in the evenings and mornings. In my bed when all the world in deep sleep.
I usually read sitting on my bed or lying down. But I often fancy some reading places like:1. A cozy coffee shop where I can sit for an unlimited period of time, with cheap and good coffee.
2. A backyard of a house with several trees, giving cool shades.
3. A super comfortable and soft sofa.
These may be enhanced by rainy weather, cool weather and calm cozy evenings!

I can read pretty much anywhere given that the book is nice enough and its quiet. My usual reading spot is my bed
In bed, at school (mostly during the tuition) :)), in the bathroom, in the bus, in the kitchen. I'm reading where I can. ;)
As I read mainly first thing in the morning and last thing at night sort of dictates that I read in bed. But whenever I can grab a few quiet moments, such as in the surgery waiting room, then I'll pull out my phone for a read as well. A different book, for a different occasion..
In bed, on the sofa, in the kitchen, on the steps, on the bus, when I'm travelling, parks and I've read on holiday too :P
I usually read at night in my bed with a hot beverage, but I also love reading in the train while I'm on my way to the University. It keeps me from dozing off and missing my stop, haha!
I feel like I'm one of the few who doesn't read in bed or on the couch. I don't know what it is, I just can't consentrate that long at home, reality keeps creeping in. Outside is my prefered place. In the backyard, on the porch, on the grass in a park, outside a cafe or coffeeshop, the train station or you know, anywhere. In the winter I just bundle up and can sit on the couch on the porch (either at home or the cabin) for hours. The only exeption is crazy cold weather or when it snows so much you can't keep it off the book or the Kindle. On rainy days I find a roof and a blanket. I always keep a book in my bag and read whenever I'm alone. When I was younger I used to lock myself in bathrooms and read if I was at a particularly boring party or if I just wasn't feeling up to being hyper-sosial when we were at our favorite pub. OK, I do that if someone makes me come out drinking these days too.

Yes but I am one of those people who gasps and curses and laughs out loud when I read and people dont seem to like that much. And the annoyed stares make me uncomfortable so I avoid reading in crowded places.

I read on my bed and on the couch usually. I also love reading inside coffee shops with my headphones on.

Wow, we are so much alike. I tend to smile and laugh while reading and once, people stared at me like "what's wrong with her?" Well, would never trade my bed and couch.
I rarely read in bed, I commute on the LIRR and a bus in NY, 1:30 minutes each way, so I do most of my reading there. I love having this time, which I wouldn't have if I drive to work, to read.

I don't drive, so there would be hours and hours for reading. Music is my friend at those times, that and daydreaming. :-)
I like reading in bed so I can be in any position I want to (lying down, sitting up, curled on my side, etc) and wear comfy clothes. If I'm out in public, finding a nice comfy chair helps.

coool.. hhh
