Great list- and what covers! I'm reading The Book Charmer by Karen Hawkins... and am charmed!
Some terrific books on this list, and some I certainly have to read. However, there is a huge omission from these 'books about books.' Anyone who hasn't read Carlos Ruiz Zafron's Cemetery of Forgotten Books series (4 books, starting with The Shadow of the Wind) needs to move it to the top of your list. Don't be daunted that it's a 4 book series; try the 1st one, you'll be hooked.
I agree 100% with John Porter's recommendation to read the Cemetery of Forgotten Books series!!
This list is sorely missing some good books. The Book Thief, The Storied Life of AJ Fikry, The Library Book by Susan Orlean, The Bookish Life of Nina Hill, just to name a few.

This list focused on newer bookish books published since the beginning of 2021.
How could 'The Dictionary of Lost Words' not be in this list?!
