I've only read "The Woman in the Window" and "The Wife between Us" and they're both amazing!
flag
I have read The Last Mrs. Parrish, The Girl Before, Behind Closed Doors, and The Woman in the Window. All are fantastic, but Behind Closed Doors is still the most chilling thriller I've read to date!
I've read 10 of these books and have others on my TBR list! The Woman in the Window and The Widow were favorites.
I have to wonder why AJ Finn (The Woman in the Window) is included here as a breakout voice. The guy's a nutjob, and the book is pure plagiarism: https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/20...
I read My Sister, the Serial Killer and it is AMAZING! Looking to read The Wife Between Us and I'm kinda excited about it!
Jane Harper's The Dry was really great. I also loved My Sister, the Serial Killer. Two of my favorites in the genre. :-)
I have marked 5 of these TO READ and have read Then She Was Gone (5 stars) by Lisa Jewell, one of my favorite authors, and Something in the Water (3 stars).

I read The Woman in the Window. The author has a readable style BUT he completely mashed up the films Rear Window, Copy Cat, & Gaslight. He has no original ideas of his own, thus no talent he can rightly claim. In fact, he has been outed as stealing from others for this book online in the news, has been called a serial liar, and admits to lying about having cancer. The New Yorker website (in Feb 2019) says: Mallory “has a history of imposture, and of duping people with false stories about disease and death.” This is a very bad thing to do, take others' work & use it as one's own. Even so, he has written a slow moving, easily foreseeable story that I had to force myself to finish reading. This person should have his laptop taken away.
Woman in the Window must be the biggest rubbish out. How anybody can like it is beyond me.As is The Chalk Man! Are people no longer reading the good stuff?
To anyone who has yet to read The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, please do yourself a favour and pick this one up. It is the most unique and mind-blowing book I’ve read in ages.

Something in the water was one of the best books I have read in months. I highly recommend it. It definitely keeps you guessing until the end.

I’ve read 11! But I’m a sucker for new books and mystery/thrillers are my favorite genre, so that makes sense. The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle was far and away my favorite new voice, it was amazing!
I've read 4 and there are more on my TBR, some are books I want to get to soon, others are just on my general TBR.
Ive read 9 books. The Woman in the Window gets 5 stars. It is fabulous and it willsoon be a movie. Unputdownable.
Black Kayak and the sequel Relentless Pursuit, by Russ Snyder (myself), are a 'who-done-it' written in a definite change of pace style. The first book involves what appears to be an accidental death while the second tackles the human trafficking/sex slave trades. Both have received all 5 Star Reviews. Snappy dialogue with humor inserted at the right times compliment the plot twists and sometimes brutal action. Give these a try.

most of these are in my "want to read" list. I won 'The Other Woman' from a giveaway but still haven't read it yet.

I really enjoyed reading The Silent Patient, and could definitely see it as a movie. I stopped reading The Last Mrs. Parrish close to the end...it just became too dark and disturbing for my tastes. The Woman in the Window was very slow going and kind of "meh." My Sister the Serial Killer was a fun, light read.

Holy hell he's nuts. Actually makes me not want to read the book now /:
I've read 4 of them: The Couple Next Door (2 stars), The Last Mrs. Parrish (3), Final Girls (4) and The Woman in the Window (4)!
I have read 13 and own 3 others. I did not like and would not recommend to my friends: The Woman in the Window, The Wife Between Us, The Good Son, The Dry, 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcadtle, The Couple Next Door and The Perfect Mother. I loved The Silent Patient (probably the best choice in this list). I enjoyed The Widow, The Chalk Man, The Girl Before, Final Girls.

The author's true life story was far more outrageous and shocking. I won't support the author by buying/reading any future books. Shame on him and his publisher.
