Christy Heron has been writing professionally for the last thirteen years. She has written four novels, short stories, poetry and has just released her new "Anti" Romance Novel Unrequited – One Girl, Thirteen Boyfriends, and Vodka this summer with great success. Her style is unique and her ability to relate to readers is innate. Ms. Heron paints vivid pictures through words; raw storytelling and vibrant detail making her audience feel as if each page has come alive. A tan, candid, Southern California blonde; however beyond the exterior she is an infinite collection of characters and stories. She loves to make her readers squirm and blush, just enough. Her boisterous, confident, yet deeply intimate personality dances on the pages of her book ...more

No one really knows where your ideas come from. You explain it but there is always something you keep for yourself. Also, I love when I tell someone about my next project and see their expression and (sometimes) their jaw drop at how interesting, horrible or how outrageous it sounds to them. Then I know i'm on the right track. (less)

“Thank god for Vegas. Seriously.
A lobotomy wasn’t as effective as a weekend three hours of Red Bull away (from LA, not Pismo) where I wore the thinnest pinned stilettos, gambled like a sweaty degenerate mobster in black loafers, drank like Amy Winehouse and Charles Bukowski’s baby, and snorted throat-dripping lines of coke in a Hard Rock Hotel bathroom with four new best friends. I’d giddily rub off any one of those from the to-do list I wrote in eyeliner on my hotel bathroom mirror.”
Christy Heron, Unrequited - One Girl, Thirteen Boyfriends, and Vodka.

“February 2009
January 4. January 4. January 4. I rubbed the paper on my red calendar. I cried into the little box, into the last day we had sex.
I was a tornado. I puked hurricanes.
