Launching S2M for Events at CUAsia
It’s Coworking Unconference (CUAsia) 2016 time! This great event will take place in the town of Ubud on the gorgeous island of Bali on February 26-27. S2M is represented by Lenneke van Rossum (S2M International) and The Magical Serendipity Machine. A hell of a job, but I guess somebody’s gotta do it…
CUAsia & S2M – a great match!
CUAsia has the scoop using S2M for Events to facilitate serendipitous encounters between its participants, so there’s big excitement on our part as well! S2M Ambassador Mike LaRosa from Coworkaholic played a big role in this, as he himself is a big believer in accelerating serendipity. Together with Kasia Triantafelo, secret weapon of the CUAsia team, we have worked as a close team to test the software and to get everything in place for the participants of CUAsia to benefit from S2M for Events.
The Future of Work
After a successful first year with 135 participants from 30 countries, CUAsia is back for the second round. This year the team is expecting more than 200 participants; it’s completely sold out. The theme this year is ‘The Future of Work’ and the whole event revolves around how to live, work and learn differently in the new, collaborative economy. A theme that of course matches perfectly with the vision and philosophy of Seats2meet! Deskmag & Coworkaholic will present the first results of the Global Coworking Research & Asia Survey Results, as coworking is booming in Asia at the moment. An interesting market for S2M as well, but more about that later.
No more wallflowers
About 250 attendees from 30 Asian countries will be dynamically introduced to relevant people during the conference. They can invite others for a cup of coffee or a chat, and ask questions to all people present at the event. This will definitely stir things up! First of all, it’s a big ice breaker. No more wallflowers. No more walking around for hours, trying to find that one person that you are sure is present at the event, but that you can’t find. Just ask and you will find!
The Serendipity Machine
So, what makes S2M for Events different from the previous S2M event software, some of you may ask? Well, this is a whole different cup of tea! S2M for Events is a virtual layer on top of your event. The magic comes from behind the scenes, namely the S2M smart algorithm a.k.a. The Serendipity Machine. This is where the professional matchmaking comes from and what basically extends the role of any hosts or hostess to an incredible level. It makes the event even more relevant than it already was and therefore a truly memorable experience, for both participants as well as the event organizer.
