What To Do When Your Computer Acts Wacky and A Snowstorm is Coming

What do you do when your computer acts wacky? It depends on the computer.  Today I was on my laptop for about 6 hours straight. Then I went off for dinner. When I came back it was not right. A snowstorm is approaching and I wondered if there was something going on with some sites because of the weather. I’ve seen that in the past.

I ran a virus scan and a malware scan. Nothing showed up.
I found that it wasn’t loading completely anything on the internet.  So now what?
I will let the laptop rest and see what is up tomorrow.
It may also be time to re-evaluate what is on the computer and start storing stuff again or eliminating things I no longer need.

But if you have a ton of work like I do, what do you do? I’m writing to you on the little Acer Aspire One I have. It’s basic and not fancy but I’m here and it’s rescued me on several occasions.  Having a back up computer is always a good idea.

So is stocking up on food, water, and emergency supplies including everything needed for children and pets when a snowstorm is coming. Don’t forget batteries, flashlights, an emergency radio, and a plan if you have a power outage and have to leave after the storm for a hotel. I gassed up my car too.  I will be charging my cell phone overnight.

All the best to all of you out there in the storm. Stay safe.
