And Then I Read: THE TWILIGHT CHILDREN 3

TC3Image © Gilbert Hernandez & Darwyn Cooke

In part three of this four-part series, strange appearances and disappearances continue to happen, people are oddly blinded and frozen in place, and and while there are a few clues about Ela, the mysterious platinum-blonde woman, we’re only inching closer solving the bigger mystery of what’s going on in this small seaside town. Flirtatious Tito continues to cause trouble for everyone. “I always get my way,” she smirks. The local sheriff is fed up, and the outside investigators are getting nowhere. Guns are drawn, and surprising things happen when they are. Felix, one of the investigators, has an eerie midnight encounter and another trip to the beach with Ela that begins to clear the mist. I can’t wait to see how Hernandez and Cooke wrap this up!

Highly recommended.
