Looking Back at 2015

This year has been a good writing year. I have to keep reminding myself of this this despite the fewer than planned book releases.
Writing
Living Sacrifice – I finished last book of the trilogy that I have been working on periodically for almost a decade. It is an epic inspirational fantasy following the adventures of a young woman (late teens) and a young man (in his twenties) as they struggle to live faithfully in a hostile world centered around the worship of a goddess. (About 50K written in 2015.)
The Making of a Man: A Rhynan Short Story Anthology – This year I wrote five short stories for my Lord Dentin themed anthology: A Squire’s Love, Prodigal Brother, Turning Point, Forging Friendships, and The Bittersweet Pear. (Added about 37K)
Diaspora – A prequel to my short story, Exchange, I started Diaspora a while ago and now I am picking away at it as I can. (Added 18K to the 2015.)
Editing
The Reward of Anavrea– Reworked (again) and edited, this novel is currently in my husband’s hands for the last editing run.
The Making of a Man– Edited and read by my hubby, this project is currently awaiting its very last run through before publication.
Living Sacrifice – I went through book 1 and 2 in preparation and during the process of writing book 3. They only need one more going through before I hand them over to the hubby for the final edit.
Looking forward into 2016
I have big plans for 2016, Lord willing. His will is always best after all.
Faith (Third Novel of Rhynan) – I have a scene and a half written and I am planning on writing the first draft in earnest come January.
Diaspora – This labor of love for all science fiction and strange new worlds and societies is still waiting for its ending. I have roughly half to a third of a novel and more than enough story fodder to finish it out. I am eager to see this get finished, hopefully later this year.
The White Bear – This anomaly in my usual fare of fantasy and science fiction is a contemporary inspirational non-fantasy retelling of East of the Sun and West of the Moon. It is a large book already at 60,000 words, but it needs an ending. Despite its genre defying attributes, I have been told I should finish it and release it to my readers. So, I hope to finish it off this coming year, or at least make some progress.
The Servant of Anavrea– The last installment of The Theodoric Saga, The Servant of Anavrea is the story of Eve and Labren’s oldest son, Seth. The book needs extensive editing and reworking before releasing to even the beta readers. Still, I am optimistic that I will be able to make progress in polishing it up for publication.

Which project are you most eager for me to finish?
