This week's snippet is from Flowers and Fangs. We're skipping ahead a few paragraphs.
The three Hayes brothers arrived at the Wilkins' home. They've dusted the Nosferatu (one of the more nastier vampires and the most lethal), and they've just found out Trent Wilkins(newly made vamp) has a twin who may have infected his girlfriend also. Trent Wilkins gives the brothers the information they need to track down Trent's brother Tim and his girlfriend.

Wade turned toward Axel who stood leaning on the hilt of his broadsword. It was an ancient weapon belonging to a highlander back in the sixteenth century. Axel kept it in good shape and extra sharp. "He's all yours," Wade said as he stepped aside and Axel took his place.
"Hey, you said you'd let me go." Trent's voice held a note of panic.
"I said I might consider letting you go," Wade said with a grin. "I considered…ain't goin' to happen."
Trent's fangs lengthened as Axel brought down the sword. Trent's mouth opened in a silent scream before crumbling into dust like his fallen master.

Surely he can masquerade as Mr. Green, the hunter Cassandra is supposed to meet, before she figures out his true identity and stakes him. She's a Hayes, from a long line of vampire hunters, and fraternizing with the enemy is simply not done, but as they work together and follow the clues, the lines become blurred when he falls for the hunter's charms.
