The Qualities of A Hero! A Holiday Exploration!
I hope everyone has had a fun holiday. With the New Year’s Eve celebration ahead of us, the excitement doesn’t end there.
As a romance author, I am an observer of human nature, and I also read a ton of romance novels. My eyes went wide when I saw some interesting parallels.
Both in reality and in romance novels, heroes have the following traits and act certain ways:
1. The hero is an in-charge kind of guy, someone who is respected and looked up to by others.
2. The hero notices what the heroine is wearing and gives compliments and is interested in what the heroine wants in life.
3. The heroine is excited over the prospect of seeing the hero again and dresses up.
4. The heroine finds that her heart is all a flutter at the sight of the hero.
It is an interesting to note that the first crushes take all this into account.
