Take What You Want

Taking what you want anyway.

Is it true that we should always have what we want? Is it true that as individuals the idea of being without, is anathema? When did this thought come about? Where and when did this sour cold reality of our being come to be?

To answer that, one has to look into the history of our lives. Individually, that is. My well to do Father, God rest his soul, refused to buy me things on principle. He knew that he could buy the doll, the car or the dress but simply, did not.

Robin I believe that we as humans should not always get what we want. We should always be not so materialistic and want everything be it the electronic gadgetry, or the ipod or iphone, etc. I do not have a cell phone, or a kindle or nook, or what ever the latest thing is. We should simplify, not be greedily looking for the next attachment that we think will gratify and satisfy us as people.
