Taking a Break Until March 1st

Good morning, Blog Buds!  I've been tryin' and tryin' to deal with my Tendonitis and it's just not getting better.  The best thing for Tendonitis is rest.  So, I'm going off-line, except for eMail until March 1st.  As you can imagine, going off-line for an ePublished author is not a pleasant thing, especially with this blog so screwed up.  But, I gotta do what I gotta do.  The wordcount for Sweet Bytes stands at 25,500.

Meantime, one of my editors is thinking March will be the release month for Crushed Sugar, so I'll be all over the Internet when I come back promoting that.  This is a scary thing, since Crushed is a *prequel* to Sugar Rush, like Star Wars Phantom Menace was a prequel to the originally released Star Wars movie, now called Star Wars A New Hope.  Prequels tend to be judged harshly because viewers/readers go in with already well-developed ideas of the way things are supposed to be.  My husband was severely disappointed with Anakin Skywalker, for example, because he'd already imagined his own backstory for Darth Vader and it was nothing like the one George Lucus came up with.  And I was like, "Yeah, but he's really cute!"  That did not go over well.
