That may not seem like half-way, if you think about how Sugar Rush is almost 70,000 words.  The thing is I'm one of those authors who always comes in under wordcount on the first draft and I just barely squeeze over on the final draft.  No agent or editor needs to worry about me dumping a 600,000 word epic Fantasy on their doorstep!

I'm that kind of reader too.  I pretty much read anything my daughter tells me to, but I whine and drag my feet over the longer ones.  I barely made it through Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in a month, even though I love that series.  Took my daughter four hours.
