I Should Save Some Of This Icky Weather For My Wife

It’s really sad that my wife missed the icky weather in Denver. As of when I’m writing this, we’ve had something like 5-8 inches of snow. It’s cold, windy, and still snowing. I had to march through snow drifts all the way to my bus stop. It was bad enough that the bus was twenty five minutes late, leaving me standing out in the cold wind and snow for much longer than I hoped. However, my wife missed it all because she’s on a vacation without me in Maui.

It’s really too bad she missed it.

You know what I should do? I should save some of this for her. I should pack a bunch of snow in our deep freeze. Then, while she’s sleeping, I should cut the heat to the house and open all the windows. Once it’s really cold but she hasn’t yet woken up, I should bring up all that snow and dump it on her in bed.

That would be a nice gesture. Wouldn’t it?
