76 days and counting
Shortly before Thanksgiving I signed off on the final version of the Lovecraft Country cover, so the novel is now locked and on its way to the printers.
In the meantime, the book tour is starting to come together. The launch event will be at Elliott Bay Book Company on February 16, starting at 7 PM. Paul Constant of the Seattle Review of Books has graciously agreed to come interview me onstage; I’ll also be reading, taking questions from the audience, and of course signing books. I’ve also gotten some nice blurbs from fellow authors and a couple of good advance reviews from Publishers Weekly and Kirkus Reviews.

That makes publication day about 2 weeks before Opening Day, not that I'll need that long to read it. Bated breath and all that and getting through the winter. Anticipation is a large part of enjoyment of anything.
