Being Too Honest

Sometimes I’m too honest about my inner thoughts and feelings, especially about publishing. I posted on the blog earlier today in hopes that hearing about my negative mindset would let other authors know they’re not alone. I know many of us beat ourselves up for not being good enough or successful enough. It’s hard work doing what we do, both emotionally and physically. But I didn’t want to come across as looking for pity, and I’m afraid that’s what happened.

I want you all to know that you’re capable of anything, even if you believe you’re not. Maybe I could take my own advice on this. In the meantime, I’ll be back with a Book Chat tomorrow.
