On January 20th, 2014, Artists came together in Los Angeles to honor the legendary Ringo Starr, who was presented with the Lifetime Of Peace & Love Award by acclaimed directorDavid Lynch via his own David Lynch Foundation. The night featured incredible musicians of all genres (see below) covering the timeless songs of Starr's vast, celebrated catalogue. Now, on December 4th, 2016, the recordings from this very special night can be heard for the first time thanks to Communion Records, who will release
Ringo Starr: The Lifetime of Peace & Love Tribute Concert
album. Proceeds from the record, which was mixed by Bob Clearmountain (who has worked with Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, and more) will benefit the David Lynch Foundation, whose mission is to help bring Transcendental Meditation to at-risk populations across the world.
