The Brooklyn-based duo, Gracie and Rachel, announces the release of their newest video, “Tiptoe,” which premieres today on Baeble Music

The duo will be headed west in November and December for a handful of notable live performances including an Audiotree TV Live Session (11/11), a Sofar Sounds Los Angeles Alumni Session (12/12) and Gary Calamar's Mimosa Series at The Federal Bar with The Bird and The Bee (12/13 ). The Bay Area natives, Gracie (Coates, piano, vocals) and Rachel (Ruggles, violin) will also be playing shows in both Los Angeles and San Francisco (details TBA).

The latest activity comes after a successful support run in September with much-loved Dangerbird Records artist, Holly Miranda. On this national tour, the two stirred up the local scene out west mesmerizing audiences up and down the coast at venues such as Mississippi Studios (Portland), Bottom of the Hill (San Francisco), and The Echo (LA) and receiving bicoastal airplay from tastemakers like KCRW and NPR-affiliate, WNYC Soundcheck.

Hard-to-please music press has been concurrently putting their arms around Gracie and Rachel. The duo’s forthcoming debut album, GO, is a penetrating record about questioning realities, anxious introspection, and self-exploration, which flows freely between virtuosic violin textures to sylphlike melodies, highlighting uniquely stimulating songwriting.

Those who have had the pleasure of seeing the girls’ live show are hit at once with the depth of musicianship and endless width of their artistry.
