hi ashe - i've been writing a lot lately, and i've been thinking about doing something with that writing. not publishing it in a book or anything, but maybe making a separate blog for my words? i'm a little scared that people i know will find it, and i don

Hmm, well, I’m honestly not very helpful in this as I haven’t even TRIED to remain anonymous. [Despite some mild unease about a handful of poems where the subjects, if they found it, would be 100% sure the poem was about them]

Here’s some good news! Most people DON’T recognize themselves in other people’s writing. Even if you think it seems obvious, they probably won’t. [I mean, unless they’re the kind of person who assumes EVERYTHING is about them but then, y’know, what can you do?]

I think the key to keeping anonymity would be to be very selective about who in your real life you give the URL to. The fewer real life people who follow it, the less chance you have of someone you don’t want to know about it finding it. But like I said, I’m not an expert on this. I’m kind of embarrassingly transparent about what I put on the internet.
