Shannon Bruchal I really enjoyed this book! I didn't know that starter for sourdough could live that long, and was totally intrigued by the fact that it was an antique. It brought back memories of when my dad brought sourdough bread back from San Francisco. My mouth was watering for some fresh sourdough bread.

Emily I can't wait to read this book, and the aprons are adorable! Keep up your wonderful writing.

message 12: by Carol (new)

Carol Absolutely loved your last one. Can't wait to get to this one - need to finish the Grapes of Wrath first. :)

message 13: by Margy (new)

Margy I'm hoping there will be many more books to come, as I LOVE the ones I've read so far! I like the combination of food, family relationships, romance...and a dash of magic (visits from deceased relatives, etc.)

Barbara O'Neal Well, I'll try not to feel too intimidated by following Steinbeck, Carol! :)

Shannon, it's amazing, isn't it?

TY everyone!
