‘Let the Brazilian Buzz begin!’
Mariëlle Sijgers, co-founder of Seats2meet.com on the launch of S2M Brazil: ‘About a year ago Guilherme Tiezzi from São Paolo contacted us. He was triggered by the Society 3.0 philosophy and very enthusiastic about the Seats2meet.com competence network. Being a very active entrepreneur in Brazil, he had already created a valuable network of entrepreneurs, but was missing a platform like Seats2meet to make connections based on competences and therefore creating more relevance. According to Guilherme, Brazil is more than ready for a platform and vision like Seats2meet offers. Apart from the economical situation urging people to connect, it is very much in the Brazilian culture to gather and help each other forward. Guilherme decided to become the first ambassador for Seats2meet.com in Brazil. To get familiarized even more, he took part in the S2M Global Conference in S2M Utrecht earlier this year. All of this has led to Seats2meet.com pilots in several coworking and office locations plus the upcoming launch of S2M Brazil at September 15, 2015, celebrated with a big event. I am so much looking forward to be present at the launch of S2M Brazil. Together with Ronald van den Hoff, co-founder of Seats2meet and author of the book Society 3.0, I will spend 5 days in São Paolo. Technology is a wonderful and very helpful tool, but even more important to me are the people. I need to meet with them, feel the atmosphere, understand the context and what drives them, so I can build relationships with them based on trust. During the big launch on September 15, Ronald will be the keynote speaker, while I will take place in the panel, debating and trying to answer all questions about the Seats2meet.com concept the Brazilians might have. We will do everything that is in our power to facilitate S2M Brazil to have an incredible jump start. With the concept of Seats2meet.com already proven to be successful in 9 countries, besides The Netherlands, S2M Brazil will be another exciting exploration trip. Let the Brazilian Buzz begin!’
