Apple's products are getting harder to use because they ignore principles of design.

I was once proud to be at Apple, proud of Apple's reputation of advancing ease of use and understanding. Alas, these attributes are fast disappearing from their products in favor of pretty looks, or as designers call it "styling." A journalist has just reported my views. Steven I have to say, I'm a big fan of "rate" replacing "back" in some incredibly arbitrary way in the music player. I realized that nonsense when I was at the park a few weeks ago.

You don't even get feedback as to what you're doing wrong. A tiny spot on the screen changes, but you're paying that bit no mind, so you just stand there "like an idiot" pressing a misplaced button wondering why the phone isn't doing what you say.
