I showered and straightened-up my pad. I got myself ready for a bike ride when 'out-of-the-blue' Chad telephoned.
Chad nonchalantly said, "I kept trying to call you last night."
"Oh, I wasn't aware that my phone was unplugged until this morning."
I neglected to disclose my true feelings of how angry I felt because he didn't come over anyway.
Silence came and went as Chad finally asked, "Can you come to Castro Valley today?"
"I will be home around two-thirty after my bike ride. I can probably go over then."
"Great because I need help finding a Birthday gift for my Dad, then I want to go to San Jose to my sister's house. I'd love for you to come too…if you want."
I ate breakfast at mom's house and then had a good two-hour bike excursion in and around Alameda. I needed to collect my thoughts. I napped a good ten minutes, showered again and telephoned Chad.
"Okay, I'm on my way over."
"Great."
While driving I thought of the fiasco at my mom's house. It was her washing machine. All of the water was dispensing from it. Yikes! I saw the catastrophe (the wet carpet in the garage) and left.
It was nice to see Chad. I missed him last night. We went in 'his' car to New Park Mall. Chad was being a grumpy f—kin' asshole. I gave suggestions of what he could get his dad as a gift.
Chad blurted, "That would insult his intelligence! He's a doctor. It's just beyond your scope!"
I was pissed-off to say the least. He knew it, too.
Chad apologized. I hate his moodiness. It bugs the hell out of me. He tried to be pretty nice after that. I began to appreciate his improved mood.
When we left the mall he noticed a dent in his car that he'd never noticed before. It bummed him out.
We headed south for San Jose. We were there before his folks arrived. We enjoyed appetizers. I began to wonder if Chad's kid brother suspected anything regarding 'us'.
Chad's folks arrived and were all too depressed after seeing "TWICE IN A LIFETIME", the Ann-Margret and Gene Hackman movie that I 'so much' wanted to see. I love Ann-Margret.
Chad's father exclaimed, "Oh, we didn't like the movie at all!"
They mainly didn't like it because Gene Hackman left his wife after thirty years of marriage for Ann-Margret. (?)
Later, Mr. Scillian (Chad's father) went on and on with a long, drawn out story about Gary. Gary is a twenty year old who attempted suicide a week or two ago because of a chronic skin disease that he's had for seven years.
Dinner was good. Chad eats too many damn SEE'S CANDIES though!
Chad and I helped with the dishes. His folks and his kid brother, David, left after dinner. Chad, Dave, Narn and I played Entertainment Tonight Trivia until 3:15AM! It was fun and we all learned a few things. Chad and I ended up staying the night at Dave and Narn's San Jose house. There was a spare bedroom with a water bed. We ejaculated a few times. It was fun, enjoyable, erotic, sensual and unforgettable.
He felt complete. The world was back in balance.
