4 UXPin Updates That Improve Your Workflow

Working on a product, like UXPin, is opening yourself up to an ongoing conversation with your users. Over time, you get to learn more about your users and how they’re using the product. And you also learn what’s bugging them (pun fully intended).
We learn a lot from users, receiving emails from them that something in the app isn’t quite working like they thought. We listen to them and work to make things right. Because those little annoyances can add up and it’s the little things that matter the most.
So with that, let’s take a look at the most recent updates that’ll make your life easier while using UXPin. And if you’re not yet using UXPin, give it a try with a free trial.
1. Right-Click Interactions
We heard that the right-click interactions weren’t triggering properly in the preview panel. When someone tried to use the interaction, it also opened the browser’s right-click menu. Now you don’t have to worry about it anymore. Right click on element in the preview will only fire the interaction you wanted. Check it out:

2. “All Icons” Category
For those of you who extensively use the icon sets, this update will make you smile.
Previously, when searching for icons you’d click on the “all icons” category and get … well not much. That wasn’t fun at all. We’ve fixed it as you can see in the two images below. Now when you select all you’ll get a treasure trove of icons to choose from.

3. Dragging Smaller Elements
One thing we introduced in our latest batch of changes is the ability to select and drag very, very tiny elements (smaller than 13×13 px) on the canvas.

4. The Search Box
We saved the best one for last: the search box.
One of the most commonly reported, small, yet annoying thing was very slow search box. It was lagging making finding an element cumbersome. Looking for the right element should be quick and painless. And now it is.
