South African Tourists in China

All 10 South African tourists detained in China will return to South Africa after being detained in China for almost a week. Department of International Relations and Co-operation spokesperson Clayson Monyela confirmed. Twenty tourists, 10 South Africans along with tourists from Britain and India were arrested at an airport in Inner Mongolia. Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa was in China on a state visit when the arrest happened. The South African delegation took up the issue with their Chinese counterparts to help secure the release of the South Africans.
