Yesterday was a pretty exciting day for me! I caught in a downpour at San Diego Pride, which took everyone by surprise. Everyone knows it never rains in Southern California. It’s kind of our thing. But the parade marched on; as one event coordinator said to the crowd, “You can’t have rainbows without rain.”
While I was getting drenched, my book,
A Shadow on the Sun, has been posted! The download is available
here. I’ve put up a couple of
extra features on my website: namely, the Pinboard and a basic map of the world of Erara. (And I do mean basic. Perhaps for the Amazon edition I’ll actually find someone who can draw to help me out!)
I’ve also finished the first draft of
The Troll Whisperer. Final word count: around 40k. It’s currently with my betas; after they’re done with it, it’s off to the moderators. I’ll let you all know when it comes out. I also received the cover for
The Troll Whisperer by the amazing
Bree Archer! I’m so excited— she was able to get Oscar’s look down exactly. Check it out:
Pretty awesome, right?
That's it for now. I hope you enjoy
A Shadow on the Sun; let me know what you think!
