#WomanCrushWednesday - Grace Park / Kono Kalakaua

On Monday we added the third guy from the Hawaii Five-0 core four to our Man Crush Monday Roster, so we decided it was high time we gave the fourth member a post of her own. So why does Grace Park, and especially Grace Park as Kono Kalakaua, deserve a place on our short Woman Crush Wednesday list?
1. Just like the guys, we require the ladies to meet the giveback requirement. For Grace, this involves joining cast mates to help with the Kokua For the Philippines Telethon to help support the victims of Typhoon Haiyan and supporting the Life Rolls On charity. It also means lending her voice to the campaign to stop the slaughter of seal pups in Canada.

2. Grace must have a soft spot for animals. Her involvement with the campaign for the seals was our first clue. The second was this adorable picture from the set of Hawaii Five-0. Loving animals will always earn you points in our book.
3. She is a total badass as Kono Kalakaua on Hawaii Five-0. As the only woman in the core four and the youngest member of Five-0 it would have been easy to make her character so much different than it is. Instead, Kono shares McGarrett's tendency to be a badass. We knew we'd love Kono from that very first punch she threw in the pilot episode!
4. On the flip side, Grace's Kono hasn't lost her femininity. She manages to retain a sense of style even when wearing clothes that she can chase suspects or fight in. Kono manages to embody grace, strength, vulnerability, and general awesomeness. The multi-dimensional nature of her character makes her a great role model for young women.
5. Grace seems to have a bit of a goofy side if the pictures we've seen of her with her fellow Five-0 stars are any indication. We'd love to know the story behind the one of her with Daniel Dae Kim.
