And...we have a title.

We painted ourselves into a corner because the titles all match:

The Square Peg
The Broken Triangle
The Empty Box

All start with 'the' and have three words.

The - -

Have to have a shape of sorts in there. I suggested The Penultimate Pentagon but I was kidding.

Eventually we came up with ::drum roll::

The Final Round

Because it's the last book and it's the way you order the final round of drinks in a pub, so it seemed to work.

50,000 words done so all going well.

We couldn't end it without going back to them. I really think apart from Nick and John in the Ghost trilogy, they're our favorite couple. They're the only kinky couple in the series and we felt like getting our kink on ::g:; They're fun because they're not a traditional BDSM couple, more off the cuff and DIY, plus the face slapping and stuff isn't for everyone.

Debra ~~ seriously slacking on her reviews ~~ More Shane and Ben is great news!

Thank you! We're having fun with the English setting too; I'm getting homesick for proper fish and chips :-)

That's what I like best ab/them! I like ingenuity in kink. Feels more organic or something.

Me, too. We've written both sorts, formal and not, and enjoy them both in different ways, but these two are just doing what works for them with zero interest in the way they're 'supposed' to do it. It's as if they brought it out in each other and with other partners it lay dormant.

Shane's too snarky to make a good sub for a traditional Dom and in a certain mood Ben's too unpredictable for a sub to feel secure with maybe? But they know and trust each other not to cross hard limits.

Optimist ♰King's Wench♰ I used to really prefer the formal and I find lately I'm more drawn to informal & less equipment. I loved how you did that w/Life Under New Management. Bondage w/o actual bondage. IDK I'm probably not explaining it well, but I'm looking forward to this one. :)
