The Meaning of Fulfillment

I thirst. Outside the sun is shining, and the grass is green and neatly trimmed. It appears that all is as it should be. Still, I have a yearning.

I look to the rows of books on my shelves. Maybe if I start reading now I will eventually discover an antidote. The titles on their spines offer romance, money, and popularity as solutions. But these seem to be illusions; things to be chased, perhaps even caught and held - at least temporarily.

In this lifetime, I will not be limited to the concepts of romance, money, and popularity. My desires are far more complex and mysterious. I am sure there are others who feel the same way.

So I turned to the only recourse I know, creativity and spirituality. This is what I tried, and so far it has helped me. I hope it helps you as well.

I clutched my Dragonflame talisman as I fell asleep and opened my soul to a message. This is what I woke up to:

Goal: positive experience

Purpose: so I can understand the meaning of fulfillment

Sacrifice: let go of expectations

I lit one of my Dragonflame No. 9 candles. I designed its fragrance to induce lucid dreams and enhance psychic ability. Then, I said this prayer based on the GPS phrases:

Universe, l allow a positive experience to unfold naturally in my life so I can understand the meaning of fulfillment. I let go of all expectations that would block this from occurring. Thank you in advance. So mote it be.

PS. The books I mentioned earlier are now in my closet, packed in cardboard boxes. On top of each, in big black Sharpie letters, is the word 'Illusions'.
