Magick for the Summer Solstice!

Summer Solstice (celebrated as Litha by Wiccans and Pagans)

Shortest night and longest twilight of the year, today the Sun truly becomes a magical star.

So how can you channel its positive energies today? Here's a couple quick and easy examples:

Make an intuitive mixture using fresh water and one other substance of your choice. Use the mixture to cleanse your altar or any sacred space; bless your divinatory tools (especially a crystal ball if you have one); bless your brow and ask for spiritual guidance.

I usually get a small bowl of water and throw in a polished tiger's eye gemstone. Several drops of essential oil of mugwort or a handful or dried mugwort herb would also work nicely.

Google herbs/oils/gemstones associated with fire or the summer solstice if you get stuck. Remember, it's the intent that counts. My number one rule is -- keep it simple!

Toward the end of the day light candles in hues of red, gold, and yellow. Ask the spirits of the Sun and of the element of Fire to further develop your magickal, spiritual, and psychic skills. Ask them to bring you more love, creativity, and happiness.
