Verse Us – Place – A Composite Poem

1972 Verse Us - Poems I write: haiku, senryu, mesostics, free verse, random word constructions, I might even use rhyme or meter once and a while.

Place

History seen without rooms, buildings or battlefields.
Bodies vacant of death.
Life, thy woman,
my green glowing girl,
breathing –
in turn moving and unmoving –
hath no sight, hands, or limbs;
walking a narrow hazardous world.

Heaven’s room, waiting.

Soft shoulders shrugging fear.
Opening slightly,
eyes hold signs penned by ordinary humans.
Returning the senses to earth.
Take mine back to the place

This composite poem was constructed as follows

Acquiring a random topic from randomlists..com in this case the word place was provided.I compiled the text of several poems on the topic of place (listed below).I used Wordle to select out the most frequently used words in the poems.From these words I built this poem.
