Cruising Through the List of Ten Authors I Wanted to Read This Year
So I started the year with a list of 10 authors (sorta - see #10) that I wanted to read more of this year and, in a few cases, try out. I am nailing this goal, so my question is now - anyone want to buddy read anything I haven't hit yet?

2. Gillian Flynn - Dark Places, (own Sharp Objects)
3. William Miekle - Island Life
4. Jonathan Janz - Exorcist Road, (own many more)
5. Tim Curran - ?
6. Jeff Strand - ?
7. George R.R. Martin - ?
8. Laird Barron - The Croning
9. Joe McKinney - ?
10. (Reserved - with nods going to Greg Gifune, James Newman and Michael McBride at the moment - hopefully I get all 12) - ?

Unfortunately I did not care for Dark Places.. I thought it was confusing and went back and forth too much .

I enjoyed it quite a bit. A lot of people didn't care for the sort of tacked on ending, I know. Did you read Sharp Objects? I should be giving that one a go this year.
