Fairest of the Faire
I received my publication date a couple of days ago. I am not releasing the date yet due to some other things that need to be done first, but let me just say it is not months away. It is very very VERY soon! Preorders will be open in just a few weeks.
This process has been so unbelievable. From “we’d like to see the rest of your manuscript” last September, to approving the cover art just a week ago, this has been a roller coaster of emotions and activities and trying to keep everything organized and usable. I am generally an organized person, but there have been so many edits and questions I’ve had to respond to that I don’t know if I’m coming, or going!
And as I can only be a part-time writer, I have to squeeze in my projects as I can. So I’m trying to complete media and promotional packages, get a virtual blog tour up and running, fine-tuning my social media, all while trying to write my second book. Oh, and work a day job, take care of a house and kids, etc. If I think about it too much, it is overwhelming. But I’ve set myself some goals, assigning days or times to do the tasks to reach those goals, and I’m moving forward. This is all new to me, so I’m sure I’ll be making some mistakes and missing some deadlines, but in the end, I’ll still be published and people will (hopefully) buy a copy of Fairest of the Faire!
My cover art, produced by Artist Tina Lynn Stout, is perfect. When I saw it, I cried a little. I told you I was a little overwhelmed! So, without further ado, here is the cover art. I hope this whets your appetite for the book, which you will be able to buy SOON!
