so much in common w/Barliman Butterbur

Here's why I haven't been able to get on my own friends page or read my own posts: a few weeks ago, feeling deranged over spending far too much time clicking and peeking at stuff, I decided to drop offline for a bit to clear my head.  To reinforce my good intentions, I locked myself out of various websites on purpose by doing something funky to my system.  Then I forgot I'd done it.  Completely. 

I figured it out because I discovered I could get on using my son's computer, which I'd neglected to barricade.  I'm not very efficient.  When I hide chocolate from myself, I always find it.

I'm still going to be a bit scarce until I can get these revisions done.  Been waylaid by half-term and coughing kids in the night, but fingers crossed I'll be done soon.  Meanwhile, keep an eye out for my giveaway of NK Jemisin's new book The Broken Kingdoms, signed by the author when I got to meet her at the BSFA meeting last week.  More about that very soon.
