Mercury Books is an adult bookstore and sex shop. There are actually two of them in San Diego — one on Balboa Avenue and one on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard.
They’re part of the X-Spot Adult Stores chain, which also includes Fantasyland in Spring Valley, Video Exchange in Lemon Grove, and X-Spot #9 in Midway, as well as more stores in LA and NorCal.
