Fun Day Out
Today was a good day. My family went to the Heathman Hotel in downtown Portland for a Christmas Tea. We ate delicious finger sandwiches and sipped hot chocolate. My six year old nephew asked the waitress if he could choose food from the adult menu since he was almost a teenager. With a missing front tooth it was hard to convince her though.
After we ate we went to see Tangled which is very cute. Four words, "You broke my smolder!" Classic. Still waiting for an Indian Disney princess though. Pocahontas doesn't count. The best thing about today though, was shopping at Powell's Books after the movie. Dad stopped cold in his tracks, got all teary eyed, and pointed to the Young Adult section where they'd hung a large Tiger's Curse poster with a sticky note at the bottom that says, "Coming January 2011!"
It's coming and it's real.
