C is for The Crypt: Sexy San Diego from A to Z
The Crypt is an adult entertainment store (aka sex shop) in San Diego. Their motto is “play naughty, play nice.”
The store won the title of Best Adult Bookstore in San Diego from CityBeat in 2013, so if you’re into erotica or porn (or want to debate their friendly sales clerks regarding the difference), this is likely your home away from home.
What can you find for sale at The Crypt? Anything related to pleasure!

lube
erotic books and magazines
naughty cards and gifts
Andrew Collins, About.com’s Gay & Lesbian Travel Expert, describes the store as “San Diego gay community’s best source of leather and fetish gear, underwear, S&M gear, dildos, lube and condoms, adult videos, gay and hetero erotica, and sexy attire for clubbing, the beach, or simply looking good around the house.”

Clean and creeper-free! That’s actually my main criteria for sex shops, too, along with “female friendly.” And yes, there will be others on my A to Z list, so stay tuned.
