Clay Pigeon (1971) is the last movie I saw (as a child in NY) but I have seen other movies at a nostalgic drive-in theater in Klamath Falls, Oregon when my kids were small (1992) but for some reason I can't remember what that movie was.

I did a google on drive-in theaters, and there are a few still in operation probably for the nostalgia you mention. Thanks for the comments, Sharon.

Right now at our drive-in about an hour and half north of where I live the new live action "Cinderella" is playing on Friday and Saturday nights!

I used to work at the Milford Drive In first in the concession stand and then at the box office. I got to see all the movies for free. That was back in the mid 90's.
Outside of some Milford drive in movies with my kids, I think it was The Shining. A friends dad was the projectionist at the Norwich New London drive in in Ct. I saw a lot of movies there in my preteens and teens.
we would travel in with his dad, it made for a long night.

Neat way to see the movies for free and before everybody else did!

Asking that question is something from the distant past. I haven't gone to a drive-in movie theater since the early 1980s. The last picture show I can remember seeing at one was a Peter Fonda (who?) movie. I always thought he deserved a lot more credit than he got for an actor. But then that can also be said for many entertainers.
