Not my biggest anxiety, but still

World Fantasy in San Diego next year is at an awkwardly located venue and the only off-site eateries within walking distance are chains at the mall next door and I don't know where else they can put a convention the size of WFC because the place where they hold Comic-Con is way way way too big but the WFC site just isn't very good and I'm afraid people will come to San Diego next year and think poorly of the place and even though I've only lived here three years I don't want people to think poorly of the place.

There, I said it.

(My advice will be to take the trolley to the Gas Lamp, which is touristy but fun.)

(Or share a cab to Ocean Beach for its funky and slightly seedy charm and cheap eats. They shoot Terriers there.)

(Veteran locals will probably have other ideas.)
