Size matters

You know, when I start writing a novel, I never expect it to be more than 100.000 words long, or roughly 300 pages. So far, no story has ever complied. It always amazes me how the events elaborates and extends itself as they unfold towards their intended end.

That’s right: I know how my stories end, but I don’t know the exact route they will take to get there. Keeps things fresh and interesting for me, too!

Anyway, at just over 63.000 words, “Dark Eyes” is only now nearing its half-way mark in the story. I think the finished story will be quite a bit bigger than I anticipated. Not an epic 800+ pages, but sizeable nonetheless.

Well, all the more for you to read! :)
